Our story

The Greyface Guild was incorporated in February 2023 as a Community Interest Company, with a founding mission to support independent and marginalised authors, designers, and developers in tabletop, board, and video games, addressing diversity, representation, mental health, and burnout in the games industry.

That mission broadened through 2025 into the wider creative and technical sector: design, development, infrastructure, arts, media, and technology, alongside the original games and tabletop focus.

In 2026 we added a small, deliberately part-time consultancy arm, open to any charity, community group, or organisation that needs it, whether or not it has anything to do with games, arts, or tech. What it earns funds free community work for individuals.

Who’s behind it

Arik Fletcher is the Guild’s founding board member and sole director. His background is 25+ years building strategic consulting practices, and packaging advisory frameworks commercially, translating between technical delivery and business decision-makers.
